Juana Molina
It snowed in Seattle Wednesday night, and the whole city pretty much shut down completely. I haven't been able to get to my office the past two days due to how icy the streets are; there are zero buses in my neighborhood today due to how many of them crashed yesterday. In fact, imagine being on one of these buses during this crash.
Anyway, that has very little to do with today's post. Juana Molina is one of those artists I keep running across over and over again without ever really getting to know too well, so I finally broke down and picked up her latest album, Un Día, the other day. (Hey, even a radical guy like me is susceptible to Interweb buzz on occasion.) Turns out - yum yum! I guess you'd call this experimental folk music if you needed to put a label on it - swirly, lightly psychedelic, very dreamy.

Really cool track! Thanks.
I'm living in Tacoma, and it's pretty nasty down here too. And it looks like it's gonna be cold for a while.
