"The Box"

Netlabel Peppermill Records dishes out a deliciously weird, eclectic, and often surprisingly fantastic set of TV theme song reworkings on the brand new compilation, The Box. It's a 2-plus hour extravaganza of covers, remixes, and thrashings; the song titles don't always provide adequate clues as to which themes are being used, and sometimes the reworkings are so extravagant that it's impossible to tell regardless. But even though there's something to annoy just about everyone on this comp, there are many sundry treats on hand as well, including tracks by Jason Forrest and The Chap. Go grab the whole thing - it's free!

X.O.X - Would You Be Me
Satanicpornocultshop - Suicidal Empire
William D. Drake - One Armed Bandits

Recently on Comfort Radio:
Tranquility Bass - Never Gonna End
The Faint - Sex Is Personal
Royce - Girls on Bikes
