Bella Koshka

On the 2007 release Slow Dancing on the Ocean Floor, the vaguely goth rock band Bella Koshka offers up an intriguing collection of tunes in the vein of Darling Violetta, with hints of downtempo influences that keep it from drifting too over the top. It's musical and melancholy, reminding me a bit of the old Preston Klik / Big Hat aesthetic that some of you midwesterners might be familiar with.

After listening to these tracks, I went straight to CD Baby and ordered the CD. Thanks so much much for your blog. I've bought a lot of new CDs because of it.
