Friday grab bag
I should absolutely know better than to fall prey to yet another thumping little track directed at "party people," but this one slipped right past my defenses. From the album Microphonepet, by Mochipet.

Fat Planet recently turned me on to this delectable little electropop gem from Danish act Birk Storm, which I am dutifully reposting here mostly to remind me to pick up this gent's album when it comes out in August!
Here's a band that Ulrich Schnauss described as "an incredibly exciting, radical fusion of shoegaze and electronica elements." They're called Elika, and their new record, Trying Got Us Nowhere, is over much too fast.
Sorry for the delay in getting today's post online. I was busy not caring a whole lot. I will probably care a little more next week.
