The Real Tuesday Weld

The Real Tuesday Weld is back with his third dose of "antique beat" tunes, an album called The London Book Of The Dead. The album seems more resigned and melancholy than I remember from his first album (for some reason, I didn't get into his second album much), but it turns out quite lovely this time around. If you mostly recall the infectious quality of "Bathtime In Clerkenwell," then the sad romanticism of "The Decline And Fall Of The Clerkenwell Kid" may come as a surprise, but it's still a treat.
