Luke Vibert
I hear the genre of electronica that Luke Vibert works in these days is called "acid." There, I've said all you need to know about Vibert's enjoyable new release, Chicago, Detroit, Redruth. Thank you, music people, for yet another microgenre name that comes out of nowhere and fails to describe the music! Of course, I guess "bleepy-bloopy" as a genre style isn't descriptive enough, huh.

acid has been a sub-genre since the very early 90's, actually, probably late 80's. It didn't come out of nowhere, it came out of the Midwest.
Other than that, your blog is nice. Good work.
