Spaccanapoli

One small treasure I rediscovered during my big "rerip all my CDs" project was the band Spaccanapoli, who delivered a spirited set of modern Italian music that definitely got my attention. I don't think of Comfort Radio as much of a "world music" station, but this is the kind of stuff that seems to fit right in alongside weirdo hip hop and slamming techno. From the album Lost Souls, released back in 2000 on Real World Records.

Spaccanapoli - Aneme Perze
Spaccanapoli - A' Ferriera
Spaccanapoli - Santa Notte

These and other fine, fine tracks can be heard on Comfort Radio. See you next week.

Absolutely love this album. One of the lost albums of the last few years.
