"Reuge Remixed: The Art of Mechanical Music"

Reuge Remixed: The Art of Mechanical Music provides some slinky downtempo that managed to catch my attention, which as you know is pretty difficult for downtempo to do these days. Sadly, I was unable to determine much about the record except that the label that released it is Musikvertrieb AG, and their site is unfortunately in German. Curse you, global village!

Fenomenon - The B-Minor Suite
Pit Baumgartner - Messa De Requiem
KALM - Libiamo Dai Lieti Calici

These and other fine, fine tracks can be found on Comfort Radio. See you next week.

Actually the compilation is called 'Reuge Remixed' (not 'Rouge'). As desrcibed here (oops, cannot link this) Reuge is a swiss clock-manufacturer, specialized on luxury old-time music boxes (stated there as the last one worldwide). Swiss DJ Olivier Rohrbach wanted to put together the "I-Pod-Generation" on the one and the old-fashioned musicboxes on the other hand. Pretty nice idea imo.

Can you also put up Hakan Lidbo "Forellenquintett" and Sebastien Tellier "Clair De Lune"? Or maybe you want to contact me via email? itcradio (at) yahoo.de. Thanks!

Great blog btw!

Searching info about Reuge music boxes and this luxury music boxes tunes, I came across with this beauty.
I looked in the Reuge website (http://www.reuge.com) and it has lot info about music boxes and singing birds, and you can buy them online.

I want to give my wife a unique anniversary gift. Looking for it on the internet I come across with one of this luxury music boxes. As I think that this Reuge quality product fits my (my wife's) needs, I decided to buy one.
She's a lawyer and she just opened a new office, so she'll love it.

I'll found this cd at Amazon. I really love it!

Check this one.. It's one of the very best luxury music boxes I've ever seen!
It belongs to the Francastel collection.
