Gotye

I can't decide what to think about Australian artist Gotye, whose second album is due out in January. The first track here has a rich Motown vibe to it, which retro production, horns, and swinging vocals; the second track is a dense, sampletastic technofunk workout. Sounds like the makings of a perfectly schizoid record - which is okay in my book!

Gotye - Learnalilgivinanlovin
Gotye - A Distinctive Sound

Recently on Comfort Radio:
Tori Amos - Ambient Raspberry Swirl - Scarlet Spectrum Feels
Kinky - Not Afraid
Billie Holiday - I Loves You Porgy

Never heard of these folks but I am looking forward to hearing more. 'Distinctive' is brilliant with its use of classic samples. thanks for the education.
