Friday grab bag

Funny thing - if you leave something on your wish list long enough, eventually you will find it for less than $5 via Amazon Marketplace. Aurgasm turned me on to this snazzy little breakbeat record from 2003; here's my favorite track. From the album Soul Trader.

ILS - Trapped

The new Jazzanova album coming out in December, The Remixes 2002-2005, contains a few surprises, including this cut that didn't make the final version of the highly vaunted The Now Sound Redesigned album.

Free Design - Lullaby (J-Nova Remix)

Finally got my hands on both of the CD singles put out by The Dissociatives, giving me an excuse to post about their candy-coated goodness once more. This one's from the Young Man, Old Man single; both this and the other single, Somewhere Down The Barrel, contain several treats each for the discerning Dissociatives fan.

The Dissociatives - Much Preferred Customers (The Presets remix)

And finally, we're having a benefit party for the Comfort media empire tomorrow night, featuring our ever-popular lip sync extravaganza. If you want to share the love to help cover hardware replacements & upgrades and hosting costs, paypal a buck or two to scotto at braverock.com. If you want to sit back, do nothing, and just listen to tunes, that's okay too.

These and other fine, fine tracks can be heard on Comfort Radio. See you next week.
