Nouvelle Vague

Another Wednesday guest post from Coe, who writes:

"Easygoing bossa nova sound, sung by pretty, girlish voices, but waitaminnit. That tune. Those lyrics. This was a punk song from when punk was big. Or that one's new wave. Or they're anything BUT what my grandparents might have danced to. The idea's the opposite of Me First and the Gimme Gimmes. Some tracks work better this way - 'This is Not a Love Song' is slinky and sinister, and I just want to play 'Too Drunk to Fuck' nice and quietly in the background at the next company party. From Nouvelle Vague."

Nouvelle Vague - Too Drunk to Fuck (Dead Kennedys cover)
Nouvelle Vague - (This is Not A) Love Song (Public Image, Ltd. cover)

Recently on Comfort Radio:
Asian Dub Foundation - Colour Line
Bugge Wesseltoft - (All I Wanted Was To Make You) Feel Good
Nicole Kidman & Ewan Macgregor - Elephant Love Medley
